Yes or no? If you aren't tracking your calorie intake, now is as good as a time as any to start! You have to see what's going in!
First, calculate the number of calories you need per day....

Second, write down every morsel you put in your mouth and calculate those calories.

Are you sure that tool is correct? It says I can have 1900 calories for fat burn? If that's true I've been eating a lot less.
I keep mine in my head.
Amber, I checked out the tool and it did seem a little on the high side. There wasn't much area to select between exercising 3 times a week and little to none. I am in between the two of those.
Love you blog and have shared it with some of my girlfriends. I would like to maintain my weight but need help. On days when I work out hard (run 5 and then insanity) should I be in taking more calories because of burning them? I want to tone and strengthen more then anything--what is your take on Insanity?
As far as food journal--I'm a dressing person on my salads--what is better, oil/vinegar or a low fat/low cal dressing?
